What Our Synod Is Doing

St. Mark's Calendar of Events

Worship - As believers, Christ is at the center of everything we do. This is especially true when believers gather together for worship. Without Christ, we would have no reason to gather for worship. We would be separated from God and each other. We would cower in shame in the presence of the Almighty God. But Christ, our Savior, has restored our relationship with God. This fact brings us a two-fold joy. We open our hearts to receive his saving and empowering gospel. We also open our arms to offer to Christ our thanks, our lives, our everything. more>

Elementary School  - St. Mark’s Elementary School is a school for learning and for life. We provide your child with a Christ-centered and quality educational experience. Yet, academic growth is not the only aim of St. Mark’s Lutheran School – we also strive to give each child an opportunity to grow in self-confidence, in concern and respect for others, in cooperation, and in a spirit of sharing. Tours are available by request. You can learn more about the school on the school section of our website. more>

Growing in Hope – Growing in Hope is our course on the basic teachings of the Christian faith – an opportunity to build faith and grow in our hope. Every person at some point has to ask themselves questions like, “Who am I and why am I here?”  “From where did I come?”  “Where am I going when I die?”  Those are questions to which we need answers.  Good news!  God has provided answers to those questions and many more in written form, in the Bible.  Growing in Hope is a regular 16-session, basics-of-the-Bible class, with each session lasting about 75 minutes.  The Bible itself is the textbook.  Through it, you’ll gain a much deeper grasp of the main message of Scripture, that God loved you enough to save you!  You’ll also learn to read (and understand!) the Bible on your own.  And, you’ll see the answers to those questions, as well as many others.  Want more information? contact us>
